A luxurious and silent upgrade to the standard Pilot Vanishing Point, the LS features a specially designed top button that locks securely and discreetly into place when pressed. When you’re done writing, a clockwise flick of the twist knob at the base of the top button releases the lock, and the nib retracts smoothly and quietly back into the tip.
Like other Capless and Vanishing Point pens, it features sturdy metal construction, a beautiful lacquered finish, and a smooth-writing 18k gold nib.
This pen comes in a Pilot gift box with one blue ink cartridge and a metal cartridge cap. The cartridge cap covers the ink cartridge to protect it from the nib retraction mechanism.
Note: This pen writes more broadly than a typical Japanese medium nib.
