Featuring a hand-lacquered barrel inlaid with colorful abalone shell pieces—a traditional Japanese technique known as “raden”—this pen is truly a work of art. Like other Vanishing Point pens, it features a comfortably-weighted brass body with a convenient and smooth-writing retractable nib that extends with a push of the top knock button.
One black ink cartridge is included. A metal cartridge cap is also included for covering the ink cartridge to protect it from the nib retraction mechanism. The pen comes packaged in a Pilot gift box.
